Primavera Sound 2017, the countdown begins

In just a few days, Barcelona will host one of the most important music festivals in Spain and the rest of the world: Primavera Sound 2017.

As in the past 17 editions, the sophisticated gears of the Primavera Sound 2017 festival will set into motion between May 31 and June 4, non-stop, at the usual site: Barcelonas Parc del Fórum, a stunning venue that covers more than 187,000 m2. There will also be activities in the picturesque Raval neighborhood where concertgoers will have access to three additional stages for a total of 19.

Following the resounding success of the 2016 edition with more than 20,000 attendees and renowned bands such as Radiohead, Sigur Rós, The Last Shadow Puppets and LCD Soundsystem, this year will feature leading artists like Arcade Fire, Bon Iver, Frank Ocean, The XX, Aphex Twin, Grace Jones, Slayer, Solange and Van Morrison, who will headline the program with a total of 349 shows, of which 104 are free to promote the maximum involvement of citizens in experiencing a festival that goes beyond borders.

Over the course of the week, Barcelona will become the global epicenter of music thanks to this amazing festival that Eric Vökel Boutique Apartments highly recommends for enjoying the best music, activities, and cultural events.

The daytime events of the Primavera Sound 2017 will play a bigger role this year as Primavera a la Ciutat activities are added and performances at the Fòrum are extended with four additional hours each day thanks to the new and inviting space at the Beach Club.
