Slightly over a year ago we opened the new urban terraces at our Eric Vökel Atocha Suites and Eric Vökel Madrid Suites buildings. It was an exciting moment, because we significantly expanded our portfolio of apartments and suites for rent in Madrid with an environment of cool relaxation for our guests to use and enjoy.
Our Eric Vökel Madrid Suites apartments are located in an amazing old-fashioned estate in the Malasaña district, one of Madrid’s most authentic neighborhoods, just 10 minutes from Puerta del Sol, Plaza de España and the famous Prado Museum. There is no better place to enjoy the city’s atmosphere than in this trendy corner of town.
The Eric Vökel Atocha Suites, our latest refurbished building featuring 23 luxury apartments, is ideally located close to the Atocha station and the city’s emblematic museums — the ideal location for enjoying everything Madrid has to offer.
To celebrate the opening of the terraces we decided to invite the team to HomeLifeStyle — a website and magazine covering trends and lifestyle — so they could get a feel for our two new facilities and our luxury accommodation in Madrid.

The amenities and stunning views of our urban terraces enthralled the HomeLifeStyle team. They decided to publish a beautiful report on their website, as seen through the lens of photographer Luís Visconti.
We all enjoyed the photo shoot next to the USSPA SWIM SPA thermal counterflow pool. It allows guests to get exercise year-round, thanks to the custom temperature control, night-time lighting and a strong, adjustable counterflow. The pool is large enough for swimming, hydrotherapy and aquagym uses.
The fantastic photos of our Madrid suites were complemented with the style of Los Peñotes, a landmark establishment in the city offering gardening items, plants and decoration for the entire house.
We wrapped it all up with a delightful gin and tonic made with Idyllica’s Gin no. 209.
